Up at Cannes

Cinematical: "For the first time in history an animated film is opening the 62nd Cannes Film Festival. Just announced this morning, Pixar's Up will become the first Disney film since Dumbo to premiere at the prestigious festival, and it will also mark the first time they screened an animated film in 3D." - I LOVE Pixar films. Up is the first film I haven't gotten too excited over. The 3D aspect bothers me a bit. Pixar always has a great story to go with their beautifully crafted animation. I hope 3D doesn't get in the way of a great story and become the story of Up. Yes, of course I'll see it, hopefully on the big screen. We're getting to that time of year again, the movie drought season is over, time for the wet season to being. A flood of great films from April to August, used to be May to July as I recall, bursting on the scene.

Hopefully Up will be just as wonderful as every other Pixar film.

Time to make Rob's Must See Films of 2009. Up, will of course, be on the list.
