Jerry Jones, knuckle headEngadget [via @jfahrni]: "The massive HDTV strung up over the field was hit by a punt during the first NFL game played there last night. So far, by the rules that will result in a do-over, while owner Jerry Jones says there are no plans to move the screen and he doubts anyone will hit it during the regular season. Check the video evidence embedded after the break, somehow we doubt this is the last time this happens." - Jerry Jones is one of those owners, like Al Davis of the Raiders, that is everything wrong with the game of football. They believe they know the game better than the coaches and players and anything they do is the right thing to do, even though it's not. Clearly the display is going to screw with gameplay if punters can hit it at will. Jones, of course, in typical arrogant form says "there are no plans to move the screen and he doubts anyone will hit it during the regular season." Nice call man, have you ever punted a ball in a professional football game? I didn't think so.
Yeah, I just don't like Jerry Jones, can you tell. :-) He ruined the Cowboys organization, and turned me into a Chicago Bears fan.
