[4:40 PM]
Hello all!

By all I mean the two of you reading this site on a regular basis! (Thanks, BTW!)

I made it in last night around 9:00. My week in Seattle is always a pleasure of sorts but I can't wait to get home.

God is good, all the time.

A quick technology note. While I was in Seattle my main development box remained in Visalia. I'm totally amazed at how well Remote Desktop works. Ya I know it's twenty-plus year old technology but it does come in handy. I was able to work on my box in Visalia without a problem until my DSL connection decided to lose it's brain. That, unfortunately, happens once in a while. Oh well I'll have to check in changes when I'm back in the office next week.

Good Mornin' Y'All

It's been a great week in Seattle, but I'm ready to go home. The partner conference was pretty darned interesting. Folks are doing some amazing work with Visio; really, you'd be surprised.

I can't post a winner for the Movie line of the week since I wasn't able to post it. I wish I could figure out how to get this thing to work from behind the firewall. Hopefully I can get Kim to post it for me and I'll get a winner next week.

Here's a new definition for you....

Ok, quick, what movie! Send your guesses here.

I'm off to a partners conference, catch ya later.

XBox was fun

Well I had a great time last night. We played XBox 'til around 8:30 then grabbed grub at a wonderful Tai restaurant called Typhoon. If you're ever in Seattle check it out, you won't be disappointed. Get the yellow curry, four stars, trust me. All I do when I'm here is eat!

Today we're having a big group meeting that runs from 9AM to 2PM, ouch. I'm going to head over and stay for a while. I have code to bake, bugs to create, can't hang around listening to execs talk all day.

Darn, doesn't look like I'm going to get my Monorail this morning. That's a dog shame. Now I'm gonna be grumpy all day. GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

XBox and Pizza...

Ahhh, it doesn't get any better than that. Okay, okay that a lie. It should really say "Ahhhh, without Kim this is the next best thing I can think to do!". The guys have decided they're going to babysit me tonight so we're going to play XBox and eat pizza in the boardroom, shhhh don't tell anyone! It should prove to be a good time.

I'm able to publish these entries only when my lovely wife has the time to go up and publish them for me. For some goofy reason I can't publish from behind the Microsoft firewall, even though the process runs on a Blogger server. Strange don't ya think? Anywho, thanks honey I really appreciate it!

Had my Monorail Espresso this morning and Happy Teriyaki for lunch. Mmmmmmmm good!

I miss Discovery

Last summer we decided to get rid of cable, DirectTV really, because our children were veggin' way too much. I don't miss it that much to tell you the truth but I do miss certain things. Things like Junk Yard Wars, Croc Hunter, and Jeff Corwin. Last night at the hotel I decide to watch some tube while I was having dinner so I flipped over to Discovery. They have a new show called Monster Garage! It was way cool. The idea behind the show is to take a normal automobile and transform it into something else, but keep it looking "normal" on the outside, and do it in seven days. In the episode I watched last night they turned a 1999 VW Bug into a an air boat! If you have cable, or satellite, and can watch Discovery check it out. It's a wild show.

Outta state

I'm in Seattle this week so posts may be few and far between. I'll probably play a lot of XBox with friends, after hours of course, because I have no family to go home to. Sitting in a hotel room staring at the walls gets old after a while. So I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Oh, almost forgot! Congratulations to GigaFrag.Net on their first LAN party of the summer! It was a big hit, way to go guys!

Hopefully I can stay awake today. I've been up since 3:30AM and I'm dog tired. That's what you get when you decide to fly out on Monday morning because you want to play softball! Oh well, it was worth it!

Sorry folks, MORE server trouble. RC is going to try to get access to the server room and reboot the box. I think we've finally stressed out that poor little box. Time for a memory upgrade I think.
