You a bettin' man? - [12:24 PM]

Keep an eye out. This could very well be a success story in the making. The Graw Group just announced they've received $4.75 Million in Equity Funding from August Capital and Kleiner Perkins Lead Investment.

Don't discount this team. Two of the founders are Visio co-founders, and one is a Visio founding engineer, they're all brilliant.

Darned tempting - [9:45 AM]

Will write C/C++ for foodDave Winer is looking for a C programmer for a Win32 project, dang! It sounds like a good time to me. XML-RPC hooked to a database? Hmmmm, wonder what he's up to.

The question is do you take a chance like this when you have a full time gig? Darn, I'm not even sure if it's a paying job and I'm already salivating. For some strange reason writing C/C++ code blows my skirt up. Sure I like C#, but it's hard to turn away from a tried-and-true friend.

Dave is the devil. (Yes, that's a joke folks. Smile, life is good!)

Independence Day 2004 - [8:02 AM]

As I'm sitting here in our home office I can hear runners passing by on the street outside. We live next to the city park and our annual Fourth of July events are just ramping up. It's fun living downtown, even in a small town like Exeter. Later today I think we'll all head down to the park, eat too much, and have a look at the booths.

Happy Birthday America!
