Movie line of the week answer - [9:08 AM]

And the winner is..... Drum roll please....

Moose, yep, that's right, a Moose. I'm not sure if this particular Moose was originally born but he now resides in these United States of America. Congratulations Moose!

The correct answer is...

Thanks for playing!

A progressive group at Microsoft? - [9:04 AM]

Wow, there's hope yet for telecommuters of the world. Chris Sells actually works for Microsoft out of the comfort of his Home/Office in Oregon, I didn't know that. It takes a confident, forward thinking, team to take on telecommuters. Most groups can't wrap their brains around it for some reason.

I'm going to allow anonymous comments, until someone abuses it. Please keep it nice folks, I want my children to be able to read their dad's drivel.

Wasteland? - [8:59 AM]

Now that I've added comments I realize what a wasteland my blog really is. Zero comments on the API post that got me to add comments to the site in the first place.

RibbitThe other post I wish I'd get some feedback on is "Posting to Blogger with Outlook". UPDATE: Whoops, I just noticed I have five comments on this post! Thanks for the feedback, looks like NewsGator may have what I'm after!

Sigh...

P.S. - Note to Nick Bradbury or Jon Davis, create a plug-in for Outlook that allows posting to different blogging backends, start with MetaWeblog API and Atom(I know this isn't exactly nailed down, but it's necessary to post to Blogger). Jon already has an excellent start with PowerBlog but since he started working full time he hasn't had time to work on it, and Nick just writes killer software. FeedDemon is one of the best pieces of work I've ever used. Nick, maybe you can get Jon to sell you PowerBlog? Just a thought.

Posting to Blogger with Outlook? - [7:03 PM]

Tiggers are wonderful things!Has anyone created a custom Outlook form with scripts to post to Blogger? I still don't know why the weblogging world hasn't written an application that runs within Outlook. It's one application I have opened daily. Maybe we can convince Nick Bradbury to get FeedDemon running within Outlook, as well as creating us a brand new application for posting to weblog servers, like Blogger, Manila, Radio, WordPress, and Movable Type. I'd like to see a pluggable architecture that would allow me to hook a plugin to the system so I could post to my service of choice. If anyone is interested in a good start you may want to track down Jon Davis. PowerBlog is an awesome client that could be a great starting point for the application I want.

1) Host it inside Outlook
2) Post to many different services
3) Make it pluggable, so I could write something that would allow me to post to my service of choice if it's not supported.
