Truth be told - [1:45 PM]

Mini-Scobleizer: "My Friends think my Dads a porn star" - Go little Scoble. Maybe you can help dad with his next book so it doesn't sound like it has something to do with porn. Robert, you'll have to take that into consideration next time 'round.

John Robb, better listen to him. - [11:24 AM]

John Robb's Global Guerrillas: "Osama bin Laden offered a truce to America last month. This is a religiously mandated action prior to an attack. We should anticipate that new attacks on US targets will occur soon." - John has become quite the authority on our new world of war. Every time I read GG I get chills, John just makes sense. In this article he's telling us we should be on alert, but not for huge symbolic strikes like 9/11, instead they'll hit our infrastructure. Money makes the US go 'round, they're not altogether stupid are they, just insanely jealous and misguided lemmings lead by radicals that no longer fully understand why they hate the West and Jews. They just go with the flow, give their miserable lives for the cause, and are rewarded in heaven for their sacrifice. Brilliant.

I recently saw a photo of Pakistanis destroying a McDonald's(wish I'd saved the link). They were tearing up a Ronald McDonald statue. In the middle of the fray were children, laughing children. What does that mean? Is this religious indignation or a bunch of kids raging against the machine because it's a darned good time? Punks and thugs representing Islam, what would Allah think?

Anywho, be ready for disruption. Keep an eye on John's excellent site.

Party in the Big Easy - [10:27 AM]

MSNBC: "To a lot of New Orleanians this year's Mardi Gras is about more than the annual party -- it is a sign of hope for the city's future." - I've always wanted to visit New Orleans during Mardi Gras.

Good luck folks.

Sounds like a good time - [10:00 AM]

Scripting News: "Friday night's party was great, huge, exhausting. Saw a huge number of old familiar faces, and met a bunch of new people." - I met Robert Scoble a few years back, then he visited RC and I out at Paramount a couple of years back; with his Dad and son in tow. He's a very nice, super brigh, fella. I've never met Dave Winer nor a lot of other bloggers I read on a daily basis and these "get togethers" sound like a lot of fun.

Movie line of the week answer - [4:56 PM]

I know this is really late, but we did have a winner! It just so happens he's an old friend from the good old Visio days, Mr. David Cole (A.K.A Mr. COle, or the Coleman).

Congratulations David!

The correct answer was...

What is it about this entry? - [10:03 AM]

I've been getting a lot of hits on this page lately, wonder what it is? Is it the "Quick How To: Debugging .NET HttpHandlers" or is it the "Pharmacokinetics Calculator Update"?

My two-cents is on debugging HttpHandlers.

I wish I had the time to finish off the PK Calculator assembly. A pharmacist somewhere might find it useful.

Is anyone interested in a Pharmacokinetics Calculator .NET Assembly? Let me know if you are.

Movie line of the week - [9:56 AM]

And.... ACTION!Good morning movie liners. I've struggled to come up with a line this week for some reason.

So let's try... mmmmmm... this one...

This is not a war any more than there's a war between "Men and Maggots"... This is an extermination.

Ok, quick, what movie! Send your guesses here.

A-List Bloggers? - [9:47 AM]

Do people really give a rat's butt if they're considered an 'A-Lister'?
I'm shooting for something altogether different, I'm a Z-Lister.

Tiggers are wonderful things!Who wants to join? You don't have to be an authority on anything, you don't have to be linked by a zillion people, you don't have to do anything special. It's easy, just make the claim you're a Z-Lister and let's see if it's picked up by the search engines.

I can't believe people spend time talking about this crap(like I've just done, sigh...)

The Haunted Mansion - [9:40 AM]

Yo-ho, yo-ho, a pirates life for me...
Robyn Miller: "The above is a excerpt from the 1975 Standard Operating Procedure for Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. The manual is a little outdated. But it still gives a fun (and rare) behind-the-scenes glimpse of a landmark Disneyland attraction." - Check out Robyn's impressive 24 pages of operating procedures for the Haunted Mansion, complete with map! When we visit Disneyland we spend a great deal of time in New Orleans Square, the home of Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion. I can't get enough of these two rides, and when it's time for dinner I love visiting the Blue Bayou.

Something that's kind of bummed me out lately is the rumor Disney is planning on updating Pirates to take on a look more like that of the movie. Please don't, it's perfect just the way it is.

Disney and iTunes? - [8:49 AM]

Think DifferentMacDailyNews [via The Disney Blog]: "The rumor is that Disney (DIS) could buy a stake in AAPL's iTunes, which could then be a first step towards an iTunes IPO." - My first thought was WOW! Two minutes later, after reading a bit further, my tune switched. It couldn't possibly benefit Apple to let iTunes out of its' grip. That is... unless Mr. Jobs has another rabbit to pull out of his hat.
