New Borland spinoff HQ'd in Exeter? - [9:50 PM]

"Leadership for the new Borland spinoff responsible for developer products, or whatArc is referred to as DevCo or DelphiCo, has decided to build it's new corporate headquarters in the little town of Exeter, California according to sources close to the company."

Of course there's absolutely no truth to it, but boy what a story that would be!

Anywho, for the Delphi freaks here's an update from DevCo Chief Scientist Allen Bauer.

MSNBC: "RIM says it has developed and tested a technical workaround to allow BlackBerry service to continue even if an injunction is issued." - I really hope these guys can stay operational, especially with preditors waiting in the wings. Preditors with 80% solutions.

Sigh...

The RSS Soap Opera - [9:48 AM]

I Love RSS!Wow, I had no idea, until yesterday, that RSS had turned into a giant soap opera. I'm not exactly sure what the problems are but it sound to me like folks are after clarification in the specification. Is that the only issue?

Why not get everything in place and submit it to the W3C as a standard, then the soap opera would be in someone else's lap.

Just my humble opinion.

Movie line of the week - [9:37 AM]

Hot buttered popcorn and a movie, ahhh!Today's movie line comes from one those films I can't get enough of. It's a great family friendly movie.

Here's the line...

Mrs. Walsh: Pants and shirts go in the... oh, forget about it. Just throw everything into cardboard boxes. Clark, can you really translate all that?
Clark: For sure, Mrs. Walsh.
Clark: [in Spanish] The marijuana goes in the top drawer. The cocaine and speed go in the second drawer. And the heroin goes in the bottom drawer. Always separate the drugs.

Ok, quick, what movie! Send your guesses here.
