Blogger publishing busted? - [9:59 AM]

I'm not sure if it's something on my end or not, but it certainly looks like publish is broken on the Blogger side.

I want to switch to WordPress for this blog but I have ZERO time to figure out how to do it, so I'm living with Blogger for the time being.

Has anyone else wondered why Google isn't doing a darned thing with Blogger?

Movie line of the week answer - [9:50 AM]

Interesting. I didn't get a single guess.

I'd have thought this one would've been easy, it's such a memorable line.

Anywho, it's from the movie...

Spoken by Roddy Piper.

What a loving religion - [12:02 PM]

CNN: "'The war with Israel does not depend on cease-fires ... . It is a Jihad for the sake of God and will last until (our) religion prevails ... from Spain to Iraq,' al-Zawahiri said. 'We will attack everywhere.'" - This may sound horrible but reading stuff like this makes me want to join the military so I can hunt nutters like al-Zawahiri down and get them out of the picture. I know, it's horrible to say, I know, I know, I know...

The plot thickens - [7:46 PM]

CNN: "Surrounded by yellow Hezbollah flags, more than 60 Iranian volunteers set off Wednesday to join what they called a holy war against Israeli forces in Lebanon." - Maybe this isn't big enough news to print, but it could be the beginning of something big. Only time will tell.

Nice and cool - [10:59 AM]

It's a real scorcher here in the San Joaquin Valley!MSNBC: "The ISO on Monday declared a 'Stage 2' emergency, which called for some businesses to reduce their power use in exchange for lower rates. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger also directed state agencies to reduce electricity use by 25 percent by turning off unnecessary equipment; local governments and universities were urged to do the same." - Hey, it's going to be nice and cool today! We're expecting to top out at 110, that'll certainly feel better than the 115 I was working in Sunday afternoon.

Time for a trip to the mall, or to the movie theatre, they keep those places nice and cool.
