It's been a while since I've been able to update this page! Darn! I was out of town for the week of September 16-20th and couldn't remote desktop back into this box from behind our firewall(weird) and since this is a Radio site I couldn't really update it. Anywho....

September 14th we played in the Exeter Boys and Girls Club Softball Tournament. There were only six team, they expected twelve, and we managed to take second place. The championship game was against a team we spanked earlier in the day by over 15 runs! Totally frustrating to lose to a team you really took it to! The score was 6-5(very low scoring) and I think everyone was just exhausted. The day's high was 100 and that really takes it's toll on your body after a while.

All in all it was a great success for The Boys and Girls Club and I hope they do it again soon. Maybe next time they can attract some more teams.

Visalia Summer League wrap-up

We finished out our Visalia Summer league with a bang! Pest Patrol is the 'D' Division champions with a 6-0 record, woo-hoo! We managed to take our final game against a very good hitting team with ONLY nine players, in slowpitch you usually have 10 on the field.

Now we're off to Fall Ball in a MUCH faster division. We were spanked in our first game 25-3, OUCH! We moved into the 'C' Division but we're playing against some 'A' and 'B' Division teams because there is NO 'A' or 'B' Division for the fall league. That really smarts! We're going to have to be on our toes to stay in these games.
